Club-Tailed Dragonfly

Gomphus Vulgatissimus - European Club-tailed Dragonfly is found in northern and central parts of Europe. The common name of these dragonflies refers to the swollen abdomen just in front of their apex giving the appearance of a club. The nymphs live under water crawling and burrowing to catch their prey.
